The official site contradicts itself on the weekday closing time: the monthly-updated sidebar calendar and the shipping pages say 13:00-20:00, the store-guide text says 20:30 and the legal-notice page says 15:00-20:00, so the calendar's 20:00 is used here. Check X or Instagram before a late visit. The shop shuts for several days when it exhibits at model conventions.

How to find it
North of the Akihabara core, up Chuo-dori towards Ueno. The official store guide gives three minutes from JR Okachimachi, Ginza-line Ueno-hirokoji and Chiyoda-line Yushima, and about six minutes from Hibiya-line Naka-okachimachi. It is on 2F of the Tokyokaku Building (東京閣ビル); the shop's Instagram describes it as the second floor of the building next to the Usagiya dorayaki shop.
Tips
- Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays; it opens at 13:00 on weekdays and 12:00 at weekends and holidays, so mornings are out.
- Beyond 1/150 (N), 1/87 (HO) and 1/220 (Z) railway figures it carries 1/30-1/500 architectural and design-model people, dollhouse furniture, ball-jointed dolls, interior lighting and finished dioramas.
- The official store guide offers a service where you set your own model train on one of the shop's dioramas and photograph it for ten minutes.
- It closes for several days when exhibiting at shows such as the Japan International Model Railway Convention, so check the calendar on the official site first.
