How to find it
One minute from the Electric Town exit of JR Akihabara, in the Akiba1131 Building opposite Sofmap AKIBA Amusement Hall. Take the lift to 3F - 9F of the same building is a different company's shop, Torecaru Akihabara Ekimae.
Tips
- Renamed from Tradia to Beems Akihabara Ekichika on 10 September 2022 and later back to Tradia; older signs and directory entries saying ビームス point to this same shop.
- It shares an operator with Tradia Akihabara Honten on 4F of the Gachapon Kaikan, so visiting both raises the chance of finding a given title; the main shop keeps different hours, 11:00-20:00 on weekdays and Saturdays and 11:00-19:00 on Sundays and holidays.
- Stock leans towards practical deck cards bought one at a time rather than high-value collector pieces. The four titles listed officially are Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, One Piece and Duel Masters.
- The branch does have its own X account, @toreca_tradia2 (its Beems-era account, simply renamed); temporary closures and stock notices are posted there. The main shop posts as @toreca_tradia.
