How to find it
About five minutes from JR Akihabara's Electric Town Exit, on Tashiro-dori one street east of Chuo-dori, right next to animate Akihabara ANNEX. It occupies the ground floor of the Kurihara Building — the space left empty when Touken Ranbu 2.5 Chaya closed in February 2025, so older listings still show that name.
Tips
- Weekend and holiday hours (12:00-19:00) start and end earlier than weekdays (15:00-20:00) - easy to get wrong.
- The collaboration title changes on short runs, so check the shop's X account (@popupsp_tokyo) for what is on and whether booking is needed before going.
- The signature item is Gratte, a latte with a character printed on the foam; drink orders usually come with a bonus such as a coaster.
- Since 2026-02-22 the Touken Ranbu 'Tounyan Danshi' pop-up store has been running inside the same shop.
- It opened in February 2026 and is a separate venue from animate Cafe Gratte+ inside animate Akihabara ANNEX next door.
