How to find it
Thirty seconds from exit A2 of Iwamotocho station on the Toei Shinjuku line — go out, turn left and look back. From the JR Akihabara Electric Town exit it is 4-5 minutes: keep Sega on your right, cross the lights, turn left, then turn right just before the 'Tengu' sign and cross the Kanda Fureai footbridge. Look for the black building with an izakaya (usually shut) on the ground floor; the stairs are round its left side, and on 2F the entrance is the one of three black doors carrying the One up. logo.
Tips
- The signage is easy to miss and the door is often shut - just open the door with the notices on it and go in.
- The shop left AKIBA Cultures Zone in July 2021 and formally opened here on 21 July; maps still showing the old address are out of date.
- Even when there is no release on, stock and display pieces are always out, and the shop says browsing without buying is fine.
- There is no telephone in the shop, so the landline never rings; use 070-6467-9902 instead.
- The chain also has a Nakano Broadway branch, and some lottery items can only be collected at the Akihabara shop.
