How to find it

3F of the five-storey Isamiya No.8 Building on the back street one block west of Chuo-dori, about 3 minutes from Suehirocho station and 8 minutes from the JR Akihabara Electric Town exit. The cosplay maid cafe HoneyHoney occupies 2F of the same building.

Tips

• The charge is 3,000 yen for 60 minutes with all-you-can-drink soft drinks and alcohol; extensions are added automatically at 2,700 yen per 60 minutes, and a few drinks cost extra.
• The point card gives one point per 1,000 yen spent on food and drink; 50 points earn a 'rank insignia', and each rank up lowers the charge.
• Opened on 9 May 2009 and run by Side3, it is regarded as the original otokonoko (crossdressing male) maid cafe. It follows maid-cafe rules as a dining bar rather than a gay bar or newhalf pub, and close to half the customers are women.
• Only Saturday runs through to 05:00; on weekdays it does not open until 18:00, and it closes on the first Monday of each month.
