How to find it
Shares 3F of the Uchida Building with Models IMON Akihabara. Enter through the narrow doorway beside the ground-floor parts shops HAMADA and Sengoku Densho and take the lift or stairs to 3F. If MONTA's phone line is down, the official notice says to call Models IMON on 03-5296-1900.
Tips
- Alongside used and consignment stock there is an outlet corner selling new items at cut prices, from plastic to brass models.
- Consignment commission is 15% for brass and 20% for plastic; structures are not accepted for consignment.
- Selling stock requires photo ID and a personal seal (inkan); under-18s need a guardian's written consent.
- Consignment and settlement close one hour before the shop does, and buyback intake two hours before, so arrive early.
