How to find it
One minute from exit 3 of Ginza-line Suehirocho, on 5F of the Akihabara M2 Building on the west side of Chuo-dori. As the shop's X account puts it, look for the building with the ramen shop Hakata Furyu on the ground floor and take the elevator just inside to 5F. Schwartz Chevalier is also on 5F, so check the names on the floor board.
Tips
- The shop was formerly called Velvet (ベルベット); many maps and reviews still carry the old name, and it has since been renovated.
- The concept is girls who were put under a spell and stepped out of their paintings, so the shop calls its opening days an 'exhibition schedule' and a visit 'coming to the museum'.
- There is no official website, so the hours cannot be pinned down: the shop's Instagram says 17:00-23:00 while Japanese concept-cafe directories list 18:00 to 05:00 the next morning. Check the X account before going.
- Per the shop's Instagram, a 60-minute charge is 2,000 yen with one order, and all-you-can-drink with alcohol is around 3,000 yen. Cheki and original champagne are available.
- Only electronic cigarettes may be smoked; there is Wi-Fi and reservations are taken.
