How to find it
Ground floor of the Ishizuka Building on a back street west of Chuo-dori, at street level with no stairs to climb. About 5 minutes from the JR Akihabara Electric Town exit; the maid cafe more fun is a few doors away.
Tips
- A small cafe open since December 2008 where the maids cook the food and sweets and clean the place themselves; new maids spend their first three months learning to cook and bake.
- Customers who bring a doll are welcomed, and there are doll-sized desserts on the menu.
- Free Wi-Fi and power outlets are available, and chargers can be borrowed.
- The shop does not publish a phone number; enquiries go by email (tougenkyoumaid@gmail.com), and Wednesday events are booked through the official app.
- Wednesday is a regular closing day used only for app-booked maid events. Mon, Tue and Thu open at 17:00, Friday at 11:30 with the curry buffet, and Sat, Sun and holidays at 12:00, with a separate 08:00-11:00 morning service from Thursday to Sunday. The official about page still lists only 'weekdays 17:00-23:00', so check the monthly timetable on the blog before going.
