How to find it
Take the back street behind the Sumitomo Fudosan Akihabara Building (Bellesalle) on Chuo-dori - the junk street - pass Store 1 next to Mandarake Complex and carry on about 150 m north to the YS Building. Hard Off occupies B1F to 2F.
Tips
- The first glass case inside the entrance is the retro-game case, and loose software also turns up in the junk corner.
- Floors 3F-4F of the same building are Hobby Off, a separate shop for used figures and toys (tel 03-6260-9268).
- Consoles, game software, instruments and cameras are the categories they most want to buy; selling requires photo ID.
- There is no car park, and the official page says nothing about cards or tax-free service.
