How to find it
One minute from the JR Akihabara Showa-dori exit. Cross Showa-dori (the highway-covered avenue), follow the south side of the Sobu line viaduct east for about 20 seconds, turn right at karaoke Pasela and the BECK sign is 10 seconds further. Two minutes from Iwamotocho on the Toei Shinjuku line.
Tips
- The 1F hall is not open every day - it opens for booked events, so check the schedule page on the official site before going.
- On weekday evenings it runs as a jam-session bar, 18:00-23:00, 1,500 yen with one drink, and travellers can join in on vocals or instruments.
- Bookings are mostly rock, jazz and hip-hop, but underground idol lives, idol talk-and-handshake events, anison DJ nights and cosplay events run regularly too.
- The 2F and 3F rehearsal studios start at 600 yen per person per hour; renting the 1F hall starts at 7,000 yen an hour on weekdays.
