Buildings 1 and 2 run 10:00-21:00 every day, but the ANNEX closes at 20:00 on weekends and holidays. The Gratte+ cafe on the UDX side of 1F runs 12:00-20:00 on weekdays (LO 19:30) and 11:00-19:00 on weekends and holidays (LO 18:30). Phone desk 10:00-20:00.

How to find it
Three blue 'animate' buildings stand in a row on the east side of Chuo-dori: from the south, Building 2 (books), Building 1, then the ANNEX, which is the northernmost, towards Don Quijote. Five to six minutes from the JR Electric Town exit. For the Gratte+ cafe use the UDX-side entrance at the back.
Tips
- After the 8 August 2026 refit, B1F and 1F became the capsule-toy floor 'POP @P CAPSULE -AKIHABARA-' and game-title character goods moved onto 2F-3F.
- Floors 4-7 hold official shops and limited-run events whose line-up changes constantly; check the shop's X account (@animateakiba) before going.
- Tax-free is available, and credit cards, transit IC cards, PayPay, Alipay and WeChat Pay are all accepted.
- Manga and light novels are in Building 2 to the south; the main title-by-title goods floors are in Building 1 in the middle.
