How to find it
From the Electric Town exit, reach Chuo-dori and walk north about 5 minutes past Bic Camera; three blue 'animate' buildings stand in a row on the east side. From the south: 2nd Building (books), 1st Building, ANNEX — the 1st Building is the middle one, a couple of doors south of Don Quijote (AKB48 Theater).
Tips
- Tax-free available (bring your passport). Credit cards, transit IC cards, PayPay, Alipay and WeChat Pay are all accepted
- Manga, light novels and art books are in the 2nd Building just to the south; capsule toys, game-title goods, only-shops and pop-up events are in the ANNEX to the north (B1F-7F)
- Pre-ordered goods are picked up on 1F; CD/BD/game pre-orders and animate online-shop store pickup are at the B1F counter
- 7F events (signings, talk shows) each have their own entry rules — check the official X account (@animateakiba) first
