How to find it
Inside SEEKBASE building 1 (The Tools), the arcade under the JR viaduct north of Akihabara. From the Electric Town exit follow the tracks north past Chabara; unit 1-3 sits between the camera shop 2nd BASE and the used-record shop RECOfan.
Tips
- The 2.5 m transforming robot 'Fiberion', built by the doujin circle Yusha Giken (勇者技術研究所), is on permanent display and free to look at. It is that circle's own original brave robot, not a character from an anime.
- Piloting its upper body is by advance booking and is sometimes suspended for maintenance, so check the official site before going.
- The JOY Cart electric kart rents from two hours, and the shop doubles as the meeting point and desk for Akiba Deep Travel tours.
- The same SEEKBASE strip holds Mandarake CoCoo (sofubi), the used-record shop RECOfan and, in building 3, the retro-game shop BEEP.
