Building hours

The whole building is the AKIHABARA Gamers flagship, so its floors close at different times. The 1F bookshop stays open latest, until 22:00, while 3F-7F open from 11:00 on weekdays and close at 21:00 - go up between those hours for goods, CDs and pop-ups. Card Labo in the basement runs 11:00-20:00 on weekdays and 10:00-20:00 at weekends and holidays, the earliest close in the building. The 6F event space admits visitors only on event days, and the Ensemble Stars!! Store on 2F switches to an advance entry lottery when it expects crowds. On a weekday morning only 1F is open.

Getting there

Leave the JR Akihabara Electric Town Exit (電気街口) and walk about 60 m west across the station plaza - one minute. It shares a wall with, and stands just west of, the nine-storey Akihabara Nomura Building whose ground floor is Card Kingdom, and its facade is covered end to end by the AKIHABARA Gamers signboard. The 1F bookshop entrance is effectively the only way in: escalators and lifts go up from there, and the same entrance leads down to Card Labo on B1F. One building further toward Chuo-dori is the nine-storey central wing that shares this building's name and holds SNKRDUNK TCG and Maidreamin, so do not stop there by mistake. The former name was 宝田ビル (Takarada Building), which tenants such as the Bushiroad Store still print in their addresses.
