Building hours

There are no building-wide hours; each shop differs. The two Fukufuku Toreka stores on 1F and 4F keep the same timetable, 13:00-21:00 on weekdays and 10:00-21:00 at weekends and on public holidays, while Merucard on 2F runs 13:00-20:00 on weekdays and 11:00-20:00 at weekends and holidays, closing an hour earlier. None of the three has a regular closing day. On weekday mornings all three are shut, so come in the afternoon.

Getting there

Three to four minutes from the JR Akihabara Electric Town Exit, five from Ginza-line Suehirocho. Cross Chuo-dori, take the lane beside Matsumoto Kiyoshi, follow the tracks, turn right at the KFC and pass Akibaoo; Kotobukiya Akihabara comes up and the six-storey block immediately north of it is the Kambayashi Building. Its ground floor is a run of glass shopfronts (Fukufuku Toreka's collection-card store, the security-camera shop Altaclasse, akiba LED Pikarikan); the middle floors are grey and the upper floors white, which makes it easy to pick out from a distance. Everything above 1F is reached by the lift in the passage beside the ground-floor units.
